In its way to say good bye and good riddance to Vista, Microsoft released Service Pack 2 Release Candidate for Windows Vista and Server 2008.
This DVD image file weighs in healthy 1.31 GB, so prepare to get your DVD burner from the dust bin, and burn the image to an empty media. Given the fact that this is a Release Candidate, and not a final release, one might ask “why bother?”.
The final version of SP2 should come to market in mid-April, so if you don’t want to wait, you can head to Microsoft’s official Vista SP2 download page.
