Jolicloud 1.0 just became available as a free download. This is the very first free cloud computing-based OS. As expected, Jolicloud is based on Linux and features an HTML user interface.
Given that creators focused on social networks and the Internet itself, Jolicloud comes with pre-installed applications such as Gmail, Skype, Twitter, Firefox, etc. If that doesn’t satisfy your needs, you can also find more than 700 free applications in the App Center.
Jolicloud 1.0 gives the possibility to be installed either stand alone or as a dual-boot on the computer running Windows as a primary OS. I must admit that I’m pretty excited to try it on my netbook.
