In this position, the individual will manage the SanDisk 3D ReRAM team in Milpitas. The individual’s main responsibilities are to lead a team of about 30 engineers to develop ReRAM switching material, selector device, and technology, and to deliver acceptable 3D product yield, reliability and performance. The individual’s ultimate goal is to bring 3D ReRAM technology from R&D to production. This individual must have excellent management skills and experience to manage different phases of technology development. The individual also needs the experience and capabilities to work with different development teams and groups – design, product, test and reliability, inside SanDisk and with our partner – Toshiba.
This position requires a MS or PhD degree or equivalent with 15 or more years of related experience and 12 or more years of direct management experience. The ideal individual must have a proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of division/business unit strategic objectives and goals. Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker. Must have proven track record in semiconductor technology development of radically new technologies with cross functional expertise in process, device and product areas. Must be able to lead a new semiconductor technology from inception to production. Desirable to have cross-cultural experience with co-developing technologies in actual Fabs as well as with foundries in other countries.

When and if verified this will make the third and forth company to declare their intentions toward the blushing resistive beauty. Ruminating rumors are bending the compass needle indicating that one very large producer will be making noises about their intentions next week – just in time for ISSCC 2012 San Francisco.
