Cooler Master Suite at CES 2014

We got to take a look at Cooler Master’s suite at CES 2014, and they had a variety of new products to show off.

What was most exciting to us was Cooler Master’s introduction of the new Novatouch TKL. WHile it is based on the standard Quickfire TK platform, it differs from the rest by not using Cherry MX mechanical switches. Instead it uses "Electrostatic Capacitive Switches", which to keyboard enthusiasts will be recognized as Japanese Topre switches. The Novatouch TKL will likely retail around (or possibly under) the $200 price point, which provides a very attractive and more affordable alternative to the current options for Topre-based keyboards: Realforce and Happy Hacking keyboards.
