Original story as follows.
Activision (NASDAQ: ATVI) has unveiled the minimum specs required to run Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on PC.
The specs were published on Steam a bit ago, and interestingly enough the system requirements for Advanced Warfare aren’t a dramatic leap from Ghosts‘.
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Processor: Intel CoreTM i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 810 @ 2.80 GHz or better
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 @ 1GB / ATI Radeon HD 5870 @ 1GB or better
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 55 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX-compatible
Notable differences include an extra 15GB of hard-drive space (in the same spirit of its predecessor, the new Call of Duty will knock off 55GB of space off your hard drive) along with tweak to processor specs.
Keep in mind that these are just the minimum specs and the recommended settings are currently MIA. Cross-checking with Ghosts‘ system requirements leads us to believe that 8GB of RAM and GeForce GTX 760 @ 4GB’s might be suggested for optimum performance.
In addition to the PC system requirements, Activision has released an official launch trailer for Advanced Warfare. The footage is comprised of gameplay video, featuring the standard b-roll of frenetic shoot-em-up chaos overlaid with Virtual Spacey’s unforgettable monologues.
Advanced Warfare‘s multiplayer also looks pretty amazing, featuring a new level of dynamic maps and incredibly satisfying havoc-wreaking artillery for a new batch of fast-paced shoot-em-up action.
From what we’ve seen in the multiplayer trailer, the game keeps the franchise’s distinct thrilling pace while introducing a slew of new content like interactive weather sequences for unparalleled combat.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is slated to release on November 4, 2014 across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. For more information be sure to visit the game’s official website.
