After rolling out a new mid-tower offering in the Core series, the Core V1, Thermaltake is now launching two new models called Versa H34 and Versa H35. Both enclosures come with modular drive cages, mounts for various liquid cooling configurations and extensive cable management.
The target segment for these enclosures is enthusiast overclockers, as Thermaltake mentioned that the Versa H34 and H35 are Tt LCS certified, a standard created by the vendor to ensure that a chassis can accommodate all liquid cooled setups. The enclosures can fit up to a 360mm radiator with ease.
As for the design, the mesh pattern assists in ventilation, while the dust filters prevent accumulation of dust. There is a windowed side panel that allows system builders to showcase their creations. Both cases come with cable management features that are designed to route cables easily behind the motherboard tray, and also feature water tube holes with rubber grommets for systems with external coolers.
The Versa H34 and H35 can fit in mini-ITX, micro-ATX and ATX form factor motherboards, CPU coolers 155mm in height, which rules out the larger coolers available in the market today. Video cards up to 278mm in length can fit in with the hard disc cage attached, the removal of which can fit in 420mm cards. As for PSUs, with the bottom fan attached the length limitation is 180mm, and without the fan users can attach PSUs up to 220mm in length.
In terms of storage, the modular drive cages can fit in three 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives, with the ability to attach another four 2.5-inch drives behind the motherboard tray. The ability to mount drives behind the motherboard tray comes in handy in cases when one has to remove the drive cage to fit longer video cards. The cases can accommodate eight 120mm or 140mm fans in total, and comes with two 1000 RPM 120mm fans at the front as standard. Front I/O is handled by two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio connectors.
