This quite possibly is the best motherboard that I have ever used and it blows away the competition when taking on things like cache/uncore overclocking. This motherboard is a very pricey item at $481.99 on Amazon, but being able to outpace all other boards in cache/uncore overclocking makes the premium justifiable. The best use of this board will be as a motherboard for tri or quad SLI/Corssfire for users who like to push their systems to the max. For those who are looking to run single or dual GPUs there might be more economical choices but then again you will not be able to run cache speeds nearly as high. Without a doubt if this board can fit into the budget for your build you will come to love the Rampage V Extreme and figure out what all the fuss is about. For such an over the top OC board it is also very easy to use which is a huge plus for those who might be a bit intimidated with more complex BIOSes and features.
