Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) has rolled out its latest game bundle for customers purchasing a GeForce GTX 900 series card. Dubbed Two Times The Adventure, the bundle includes The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Batman: Arkham Knight.
As is often the case with such bundles, both upcoming titles use Nvidia’s GameWorks technologies, which in the case of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt includes leveraging HairWorks to create realistic-looking hair. The technology uses hundreds of thousands of DirectX 11 tessellated hair strands that react dynamically to in-game conditions. Both games make use of the chip vendor’s PhysX and HBAO+ technologies as well for realistic physics and detailed shadows around objects.
Batman: Arkham Knight — which is the last title in the Arkham series — is set to debut on June 23, while CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is launching May 19.
Nvidia has stated that the GTX 900 game bundle is valid on the GTX 980 and GTX 970, with select countries and retailers included in the promotion. Customers buying the GTX 980M or the GTX 970M will only receive The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Both of these games are fairly well reviewed and a definite must play if you haven’t already tried them.
