If you want the best what BMW can offer, drivers would typically go for the M Series product. However, just like Mercedes has Brabus, BMW has a crazy tuner known as ALPINA. They sell their own cars based on BMW cars, with numerous changes when compared to the regular beemer. We received details and a media gallery for the new ALPINA D3 Biturbo, bringing efficient performance and luxury to the sedan segment. The 3-litre straight-six diesel engine with two Turbochargers (Bi-Turbo) produces 257 kW (350 hp) and 700 Nm torque and delivers impressive performance in the compact, agile body of the multi-award winning BMW 3 Series. Alongside the current BMW 3 Series LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) redesign, the brand new ALPINA D3 Biturbo brings a bevvy of small exterior changes, but overall, it still remains a classy midsize model.
The front features a new spoiler and a chrome BMW kidney grill, with new extremely efficient LED headlights that provide significantly better illumination of the road. LED lights were designed to underline the sporty, aggressive stance of the D3 Bi-Turbo. The two twin tailpipes are elegantly integrated into the re-designed rear apron, above which the new LED rear lights are clearly visible.
High quality materials, new surface elements and subtle design changes dominate the interior. The standard equipment now features Cruise Control, Park Distance Control and Storage Package for added security and comfort. In a nutshell, the interior is a combination of comfort and luxury throughout, ensuring the driver and passengers feel great even on bumpier roads and road trips.
