Eurocom Sky X9E laptop
Eurocom, Canadian high-performance computer manufacturer announced they’ll attend the 2016 GPU Technology Conference, which is being held next week in San Jose’s McEnery Conference Center.
“Graphics professionals from all over the world will be able to witness the performance of VR Ready, EUROCOM Sky X9 and DLX7 High performance fully upgradeable laptops with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics, Intel Core i7 6700K processors and 64 GB DDR4 memory” said Mark Bialic (President).
The company expects that they will receive positive feedback from the GPU developers which need to squeeze every bit of performance while they are on the go. While using desktop components in a mobile environment cannot result in a slim package, packing multi-TFLOPS compute system in under five kilograms is an engineering marvel on its own.

GPU subsystem offers a 200W thermal design: single GTX 980 from Desktop, or two GTX 980M graphics cards.
Eurocom will highlight Sky X9, Sky X9E and DLX7 notebooks. Developers, architects, content producers can appreciate not just the professionally-calibrated 4K panel, but also enough computational power to drive the screen resolution which is four times higher than Full HD screen. For a $99 upgrade, the Full HD or the Ultra HD panel will come with the NVIDIA G-Sync technology. Unlike the most notebooks on the market, Eurocom’s product line includes NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 with 8 GB GDDR5 video memory, while a $415 upgrade gets two GeForce GTX 980M cards for a total of 16 GB video memory.
All notebooks score above 10.0 on Valve’s SteamVR benchmark, while SLI configuration reaches the maximum score achievable. We’ve included the Specs below:
