Guide: How To Completely Uninstall AMD Graphics Drivers

Author’s Note: For more great content, check out Not Operator, we’ll have more great guides such as this one, along with reviews and analysis articles. Today we would like to address an issue that many users experience when switching between AMD drivers or switching away from AMD graphics. Unlike NVIDIA, AMD does not provide a clean installation option. These leftover AMD driver remnants can often cause issues when installing new drivers or trying to roll back to older ones. A method that is often recommended in various online forums is to use the program Driver Sweeper. However, the primary site which hosted Driver Sweeper, Guru3D,

Review: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Chassis

Introduction Today we?re taking a look at one of Thermaltake?s most impressive, and most expensive chassis in their lineup: the Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition. The Level 10 GT Snow Edition is the latest iteration of Thermaltake?s Level 10 line. The original was a sleek, BMW designed chassis with separate compartments for components, but it was criticized for poor cooling and an exorbitant price tag. Then came the Level 10 GT, a complete redesign that emulated the aesthetic of the compartmentalized exterior, but with a much more functional design, and a significantly lower price. The Level 10 GT Snow Edition is identical to the

Qualcomm?s 20th Annual Shareholders Meeting: Finances and Farewells

On March 6, 2012, Qualcomm held their 20th Annual Shareholders Meeting. Prior to the actual meeting, Qualcomm set up demos in the lobby of the Irwin M. Jacobs Hall at their San Diego campus. We took a look at Qualcomm?s Vuforia augmented reality engine, which had been demonstrated previously at CES this past January. It allows a smartphone or tablet camera to identify 2D and 3D objects and enhance them with 3D graphics, video, sound, and interaction. We got to see some of Vuforia?s capabilities which included playing virtual pool on a physical object and showing media that recognized an advertisement on a box. Vuforia

Update: Thermaltake and BMW Announce and Launch New Level 10 M Mouse

Thermaltake and BMW Group subsidiary DesignworksUSA have partnered up yet again to add a new peripheral to their high-end line of Level 10 products following the success of the Level 10 chassis and its successor, the Level 10 GT chassis. The Level 10 M mouse has a sleek and innovative design, with what could be described as a skeletonized exterior. It is a very open design, which should allow for excellent ventilation and avoid sweaty palms. It appears to be a wired mouse, which is a plus for many gamers that do not want to have to worry about battery life. However, details have not

ioSafe SSDs Get Shocked but Resist Data Loss

During CES 2012, we were invited to a demo ioSafe was doing to promote just how tough their hard drive enclosures are and how important it is to keep data safe. We were excited to see what they had planned this year, as the previous year they took the press out to a shooting range to use their hard drives as targets. We were not disappointed as it was spectacular to witness, although shooting is a more engaging activity that is difficult to compete with. This year we were taken to a country club with indoor tennis courts that had been cleared out for the

Review: Thermaltake MEKA G-UNIT Keyboard

A couple months ago we took a look at Thermaltake’s Tt eSPORTS MEKA G1 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, today we are taking a look at their latest entry into the high-end keyboard market, the Tt eSPORTS MEKA G-UNIT Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. While the MEKA G1 was aimed at retaining the feel of the IBM mechanical keyboards of the ?80s and early ?90s while still labelling itself as a gaming keyboard, the MEKA G-UNIT is being touted as a full-size mechanical keyboard dedicated towards gaming (and apparently rap music aficionados, given the name). Thermaltake has added a variety of features to make the MEKA G-UNIT more attractive

REVIEW: 32GB Corsair Voyager GT USB 3.0 Flash Drive Impresses

Today we will be taking a look at Corsair’s new Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 32 GB USB Flash Drive which was officially announced on September 9, 2011. The product made its debut in retail a few days after the announcement, we’ve had it these past few weeks after that. As a wide variety of USB 3.0 flash drives have been on the market for quite some time now, people expect to get faster transfer rates than on USB 2.0 drives. However, majority of the USB 3.0 drives disappoint with with varying speeds and performance. We’re hoping that Corsair’s latest offering brings even more speed to

Back to School Review: Thermaltake MEKA G1 Keyboard and Dasher Mouse Pad

When it comes to gaming keyboards there are dozens upon dozens of various keyboards that claim to be for gaming and claim to sport some of the best technology out there. The truth of the matter is, many of them simply opt for a cheap and flashy design that ultimately isn?t any more functional or useful than the next gaming keyboard. Thermaltake has gone out and attempted to remedy this issue by creating an entire line of gaming keyboards based off of their Tt eSPORTS series of gaming products. In the case of today?s keyboard Thermaltake created the MEKA G1 which is a mechanical gaming

Guide: How to Easily Turn Your AMD Radeon 6950 into a 6970

Unless you really like spending extra money on graphics cards for the fun of it, you likely want to maximize the performance of your graphics card. Oftentimes, that is limited to overclocking functions since most cards in a graphics card series usually have different hardware specifications. However, that is not the case with AMD Radeon HD 6950 and 6970. The 6950 and 6970 are made using almost identical hardware, with the sole difference being the lower rated GDDR5 memory in the 6950. The software (BIOS) is what meaningfully separates the two cards. Unless you want to buy a pre-modded card, we found the best and
