NZXT Kraken G10 GPU Bracket Provides A Great Cooling Solution

NZXT’s Kraken G10 GPU bracket is somewhat of a unique product. The only similar product appears to be Corsair’s HG10, but that has yet to hit the market despite a soft-launch back in June 2014. The Kraken G10 GPU bracket is designed to replace a GPU’s stock cooler, and allow it to be fitted with a closed-loop liquid cooling system. The compatibility of NZXT’s solution is impressive, supporting a variety of graphics cards and liquid coolers. The current compatibility options are listed below in the specifications: Model Number: RL-KRG10-W1 (White), RL-KRG10-B1 (Black), RL-KRG10-R1 (Red), RL-KRG10-U1 (Blue) Dimensions: 177 (W) x 32.5 (H) x 110.6 (D)

Review: Cooler Master CM Storm QuickFire XT Stealth (MX Green)

Today we are taking a look at the Cooler Master (CM) Storm QuickFire XT Stealth mechanical keyboard (with Cherry MX Green switches). The QuickFire XT is the full size variant of the QuickFire series, and the Stealth denotes the fact that it has front-printed keys (as opposed to top-printed). We previously reviewed the QuickFire TK as well as the QuickFire Stealth. Since the QuickFire XT Stealth is basically just a full sized version of the QuickFire Stealth, we’re going to focus primarily on the differences between the models, as well as our experience using Cherry MX Green switches. Specifications: Key Switch: CHERRY MX Blue /

Arctic Silver 5 goes whoopsie or “No silver paste for me”

Recently, my friend decided to upgrade his system from AMD Athlon 5000+ Black Edition and GigaByte 7-Series motherboard to Core 2 Duo E8500, hopefully to run at 3.8 GHz (FSB1600). 5000+ worked hard for almost a year at 3GHz, a nice speed bump from default clocks. Back in July, he replaced previous cooler with OCZ Vendetta, and bought Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste (high density one) for better heat transfer. Fast forward to November, and the time for upgrade has come. Ivan decided to keep his OCZ Vendetta cooler, and we removed the motherboard from the case. This was followed by CPU cooler removal, but

Noctua proves its focus on consumer happiness

Friends at TechPowerUp! recently reported that Noctua, well-known firm in the cooling business decided to give a very pleasant present to the owners of their CPU coolers. With the arrival of Intel Core i7 processors, Noctua announced that the company is giving away free mounting kits for LGA1366 socket. Named SecuFirm2, this socket adapter is compatible with all Noctua coolers since the company arrived on the market, three years ago. As soon as Nehalem processors and motherboards reach the stores, you can go and visit Noctua’s website and file an online request. You have to give out proof of purchase of either Noctua cooler or
