CyberLink Enters VR with the New PowerDVD 17
CyberLink is one of first software companies coming out of Taiwan that succeeded in becoming a major international player. From the dawn of multi-media and first DVD-ROM drives, PowerDVD software was there to play the content (and yes, we’ll never forget the ability to change the regional lock through software). Just like everything changes with time, PowerDVD gained tens of millions of users. Microsoft Tick-Tock: Xbox One S and Project Scorpio
At it’s pre-E3 2016 conference, Microsoft announced the long awaited shift of its console model. In a nutshell, Xbox is becoming an regularly-refreshed product just like the Surface line of tablets and convertible PCs. The Software Upgrade 3.2 brings the support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) TV devices, which are coming to the market later this year. AMD’s RTG Presents its 2016 Technologies
At the recently held event in Sonoma, California, newly formed AMD spin-off gathered selected press representatives to brief them about the developments the new company is working on. With the Radeon Technologies Group spin-off, the focus should work on pushing away from politics (which lead to a lot ‘spilled digital ink’, like the R9 Nano ‘fair reviews’ affair) into technology and products. Recent hiring of Scott Wasson, founder and editor-and-chief of the Tech Report should help with the technology development and quality control. As we were not invited for the event, we will only bring you a verbatim copy of what came from Mrs. Caitlin, AMD’s Account Executive at Edelman PR Agency.
