Samsung Bashes Apple Where It Hurts, in New Ad
As Samsung always does, sometimes very well and sometimes horrifically, they like to advertise their products. It has without a doubt had a massive impact on the company’s image and virtually turned all Android smartphones and smartwatches into Samsung devices in the eyes of the layman. Most people nowadays just decide between two brands for the most part, Samsung or Apple. Sure, it makes things easier and there are plenty of other phones out there, like HTC’s One M8, but that doesn’t change the fact that most people think in a binary nature. So, it comes as no surprise that Samsung followed up one of

So, we can call last night’s event Uncarrier 5-6. Anyways, last night T-Mobile made three big announcements, mostly circled around their network and how they plan to make their network the best in the US at the most reasonable prices of all their competitors. Let’s talk about one of the most interesting things T-Mobile has announced so far at the event, and that’s their 7 day free test drive of T-Mobile’s network. T-Mobile’s
Amazon's Fire Phone, Lots of Fluff?
So, everyone’s been eagerly awaiting Amazon’s Fire Phone for many months, that includes the rumors that they were shopping around for hardware partners as well as possibly launching with AT&T, which we now know as true. There were countless rumors stating that Amazon would build a 3D-capable phone, likely leaked by none other than Amazon. Even though we repeatedly stated that it would likely not be a 3D display but rather a 3D-like effect that you can find with HTC’s One M8 3D parallax effect using the phone’s accelerometer and gyroscope to help the GPU render based on the person’s perspective. The phone is jam
More iPhone 6 Leaks, Taiwanese Celebrity Shows One Off
We don’t normally post iPhone rumors unless they’re incredibly well substantiated and this one appears to be pretty legitimate. While the source of the rumor may be one that seems a bit off-kilter, this person who we are referring to has actually proven themselves in the past to be able to get legitimate iPhone hardware ahead of the launch. Verizon Launches New 2×20 MHz AWS XLTE Service
Verizon’s new XLTE service is merely a new branding scheme for the company to promote their new 2×20 MHz AWS band of data service. As of right now, most users are on Verizon’s 700 MHz frequency which is slowly getting overcrowded, so naturally Verizon would want to deploy a second frequency (which they have available). They are doing this by utilizing their 1700 MHz frequency AWS block (similar to what T-Mobile has) in a 2×20 MHz implementation which ultimately results in speeds at or exceeding 80 Mbps. Right now, on Verizon’s 2×10 MHz block in their 700 MHz spectrum block most users are getting around

Apple Steals Away Nokia's Camera Guy, Ari Partinen
Naturally, as Nokia slowly becomes absorbed into the Microsoft Devices borg, people who worked there for a long time are reconsidering whether or not they are willing to stay with Microsoft. And clearly, some people are not. So, it comes as little surprise that Nokia’s lead lumia camera guy, Ari Partinen, has left Nokia/Microsoft Devices for Apple and today is his last day. In a series of Tweets, he alluded that he would be moving to Cupertino, and then confirmed that people’s suspicions of his moving to Apple were indeed correct. What this means is that one of Nokia’s best camera guys is going directly
