PS4 and PS Vita to Get Interactive Themes

The PlayStation 4 and PS Vita handheld are getting customizable themes, Sony has confirmed in their pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference. The long-awaited features are planned to roll out with system update 2.0 on PS4 and 3.30 on the PS Vita, and will feature dynamic semi-interactive animations. Along with re-creating virtual environments from various games, the themes will have customized homescreen layouts for a distinct style and look. Playstation Home Service to end in Japan and Asia

Japan and Asia will be saying goodbye to the Playstation Home soon. Sony announced that it will soon end Playstation Home services in Asian and Japanese regions starting next month in September, eventually ending in its complete termination by March 2015. Following the service termination announcement, a maintenance period will be scheduled on September 24. Content purchases within the service will no longer be available after this date, though the servers themselves will still be fully accessible until the final end date. Sony Plans Playstation Press Conference For September

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia has announced the schedule for its upcoming SCEJA Press Conference 2014 where it will discuss the future of Playstation.
