SteelSeries Announces New Peripherals for 2014

At CES 2014 SteelSeries has announced new additions to their wireless series of gaming peripherals. These two products are the Stratus Controller and the Sensei Wireless gaming mouse.

The Stratus is meant for advanced gameplay on mobile platforms featuring operating systems such as iOS 7.
The controller itself features a familiar console-style layout with a pressure sensitive direction pad (D-pad), 4 pressure-sensitive action buttons and 4 pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons, in addition to two analog sticks, and a dedicated pairing button to connect. The Stratus will be available for preorder starting in January on the Apple Online Store and the SteelSeries Web shop for $99.

The Sensei Wireless mouse is an ambidextrous laser mouse based off the original Sensei’s heritage. The Sensei Wireless comes with a new laser sensor featuring configurable CPI adjustment to 8200, while the standard battery life allows for 20 hours of continuous wireless play. Also the mouse may still be plugged in via USB to allow for wired gaming. Within the mouse new SteelSeries switches boast a 30 million click lifespan, on-board profile storage with SteelSeries Exact features, and 16.8 million illuminated color options for both the mouse and the sandblasted steel charging base.
