Fallout 4 is expected to be one of biggest 2015 sales blockbusters, and the company just released an official launch trailer. Fallout 4, available worldwide on Tuesday, November 10th, is a highly expected game. It’s loyal following, combined with what promises to be one heck of a gameplay, is pretty much what most fans are cheering about. Given that Fallout 3 achieved over quarter of billion USD in sales in just a few weeks, and totaled around $600 million (excluding the latest stats – Fallout 3 is again a Top 10 best selling game on Amazon.com), expectations are very high.
For the past few months, the whole ordeal got even more spectacular, thanks to the game’s release date coming forth. We’ve heard many rave about it. We’ve also encountered many fans of the past editions, specially those who played the first few parts, get really hyped about it. In a nutshell, this may be one of the most highly expected games we’ve seen so far.
Fallout 4 is being developed for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and PC by award-winning Bethesda Game Studios under the direction of Todd Howard. This eagerly-awaited game is the follow up to the 2008 ‘Game of the Year’, Fallou 3, and the first title from the world-renowned studio since the release of their global phenomenon and 2011 ‘Game of the Year’, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
“We know what this game means to everyone,” said Game Director, Todd Howard, “The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”
The game developers have released a series of videos (alongside the launch one) to give us the first hand impression of the game modes, different characters and ways to play it. These are called S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and they stand for S for Strength, P for Perception, E for Endurance, C for Charisma, I for Intelligence, A for Agility and L for Luck. In order to play the game, you need to own Microsoft’s Xbox One, Sony Playstation 4 console or a powerful PC. If you select PC as your platform of choice, you will be rewarded with high quality textures and performance oriented towards ‘Beyond HD’ resolution. Entry level PC system is equivalent to a four year old high-end PC, thus the barrier of entry is not too high.
