Valve Steam VR
While HTC is putting finishing touches on the Vive Pre hardware which will power Steam VR gaming platform, Valve Software is launching ‘Steam VR Showcase’, their in-house content distribution platform which is expected to feature VR games, movies and more. However, their first priority is to support game producers, regardless of how small or big they are.
With Steam Greenlight program, which opened a new channel to small indie game developers – Valve almost created a new economy reality for those developers whose ideas almost always fell on deaf ears of large publishers. With the advent of crowdfunding and afore mentioned Greenlight, indie game developers got resources (through sales) to venture into the new fields, and Virtual Reality is one such new field.
Thus, here are the 12 games that are being presented today in Valve’s Steam VR Showcase. We compiled either videos or a screenshot.
