Report: Microsoft Shot Itself In The Leg With AT&T Only Lumia 950 Release

If you want to impede any chances/progress for your issue ridden mobile division, you should not follow the path Microsoft have taken. They are making their new and promising model, Microsoft Lumia 950, an exclusive item to AT&T and their customer base. This didn’t really go off well in the mobile world, to say the least. Currently the company has a low single-digit global market share, something they’ve been trying to ramp up lately. In regards to this, some may think that the company would be begging carriers to sell their newest addition. Unfortunately that’s not the path that the Redmond based giant took. The

Windows 10 Privacy Concerns Addressed By Microsoft’s Terry Myerson

After Windows 10 was released late last month, the praises for the new operating system came flowing. It showed remarkable stability, built-in new features and overall it projected an increase in performance, plus, it returned the start menu as well. After the initial few weeks of work, some concerns for the new operating system’s privacy & security features have risen. There were several possible sources of concern for users; from the machine ID, key logging to other problematic situations, for example, covertly downloading a multi-gigabyte ISO of Windows 10 to Windows machines without user permission. Why Does The NFL Keep Fumbling Their $400 Million Microsoft Deal?

The brand new NFL season started a few days ago but the controversies keep on piling on. For the past few months, the heated debate over the Deflategate controversy raged on, resulting in increased viewership of the last NFL game. The game we are talking about was a match between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers, with the New England Quarterback Tom Brady at the center of the said controversy. It is no wonder that his first personal seasonal appearance was something haters and fans simply didn’t want to miss. However, there was another controversy brewing, one that non techie audience doesn’t catch that easily. In 2013, NFL bonded

Windows 10 Downloaded 50 Million Times

Windows 10 has been downloaded over 50 million times. The brand new Operating System from the software giant has been a success. Partly because it’s completely free for previous Windows owners, partly because it rectifies some major issues and beefs owners of Windows 8.1 systems have reported earlier. While the number is rather impressive, the current state of affairs tell us that this relates to around 5% of all OS installs worldwide for the time being. The adoption rate is rather positive, creating a good atmosphere for Microsoft to push additional software, apps and other Windows related merchandise in the future. According to some sources,

Siggraph: Basemark and Crytek to Launch VR Benchmark

Siggraph, the annual get-together of ‘all that matters in computer graphics’ is set to open its doors for the 42nd time, this time in Los Angeles Convention Center in California. As always, Siggraph brings a sea of announcements and we believe that this year, we will see never-before seen focus on Virtual and Augmented Reality. However, finding the right balance for Virtual Reality experience will require substantial effort on building a platform (powerful PC, or streaming server for mobile), and one of key requirements is to standardize benchmarking in order to find the proper balance between performance and cost. With immersive game titles such as EVE:

Microsoft Windows 10 is Incredibly Easy to Download

Microsoft today released Windows 10 in multiple versions. The company offers multiple versions to professional and consumers, as you can see from the wide array of versions available on its MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) website. Still, we believe that most of Windows 10 users will be those upgrading from Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, which had the “Install Windows 10” icon in their trays for couple of months now. The company is moving away from its numbering system, since Windows 10 in reality are 6.4, while much searched “Windows 10 10240 RTM” is becoming a thing of past, as 10240 will be succeeded by 10275 and
