Even though their iCloud service has experienced growing pains, the need for additional space to provide safe storage for millions of their users is growing by the day. Everybody wishes to have their photos, videos and personal documents, all stored up safely and easily. Thanks to services such as iCloud from Apple, Google Drive, Dropbox, Facebook, Amazon etc. – they are (most of the times) completely available. Currently, the tech giant from Cuppertino is doing a lot of new work to expand their iCloud data centers worldwide. They are rapidly building several new clusters of buildings for its data center near Reno, Nevada, but also, the company
It happened four years ago. The long battle with pancreatic cancer finally caught up with him. Steve Jobs died. Words that echoed loudly in the Apple community. It also marked a passing of one of the most influential individuals in the technology business, a person, that in all his right, redefined the way we utilize many of today’s technology. Simply put: Steve Jobs redefined how we use a telephone, internet and many other things. Thus, it is no wonder that the upcoming movie is drawing controversy, but we will address that in another article. To mark this sad anniversary today, Apple CEO Tim Cook sent
Since its introduction in 2012, Google’s reference Nexus tablet grew in (screen) size and features. 2012-2013 saw 7″ and 10″ models, Nexus 9 debuted in late 2014 and now, we are seeing Google reserving the ‘Nexus’ brand for smartphones only. The new reference tablet from Google is named Pixel C; a 10.2 inch, high-resolution (308 pixels-per-inch) tablet runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Just like Microsoft and Apple before, Pixel C comes in a tablet + keyboard layout, which is the new industry standard for ‘productivity tablets’. According to a rumor, Apple’s next processor should bear the name ‘A10’ and it may come with as much as six-cores. It would be manufactured using a 14 nanometer production process and it would be produced by either Samsung in Texas or TMSC in Taiwan. Original rumor mentioned 10nm process node, but that just goes to show that original source should be taken with a kilogram of sea salt on its tail. These two companies would be competing for orders, the Weibo source said. We can get behind the naming, but the rest seems a bit off as Apple is not a company known for doing major internal hardware changes.
After their launch event, Apple finally revealed availability and pricing for the all-new Apple iPhone 6S. While the device itself doesn’t bring a lot of new stuff, it clearly has a tight grip set on the mobile market. You do get the ‘optimized’ iOS9 upgrade (planned obsolescence), some minor styling changes and a more scratch resistant glass, improved aluminum case, changes to the front / rear camera and the way things are done on the phone. But for me as an example, this changes don’t do much to justify switching from the old to the new. The introduction of the 64-bit A9 chip will increase performance, but it is

The four ads, titled Beijing, Berlin, Closer and Goals, all have one thing in common – they showcase how an Apple Watch will help transform your daily lives. From getting directions to making sure where and what to see in different towns and cities, to other potentially interesting social interaction related possibilities. Even the tech savvy individuals will be impressed, specially with some health oriented aspects. While some have spurned these ads, titling them not to Apple’s standards, we find them interesting. They promote the options of the product rather well, putting things you can do with it in perspective. This might be a reaction
